How to Navigate in the Viewport

Learn below how to navigate and interact within the viewport section of the app.

Rotate Camera

With a right click and hold down the mouse button the scene in the viewport can be turned and inspected from various angles. A small indicator will appear on the spot where the right mouse button was clicked on the scene. This is the pivot/orbit point that the model will be moved around to.

Pan and Zoom

By pressing down the center mouse wheel and moving the mouse in a direction it will allow you to pan your model. Changes your view of your drawing the view while keeping the viewing direction and magnification the same.

Use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out of your scene in the viewport.

Orbit Cube

The left click in the viewport is used to select BLOCKs to swap in the and to get a closer look at the selected BLOCK in the . The selected BLOCK in the scene is highlighted by bright blue outlines around the edges.

The Orbit Cube gives visual information about the camera orientation in the current 3D view. By default, it is visible and resides in the lower right corner of the view. It can be toggled on and off in the options.
