Splash Screen

This button opens the splash screen to access various Magic Palette options at a glance. You can load a compatible file, see the app's current version, and find the Changelog with all the updates and recent changes.
Load Files

The Load Button allows you to import various files into Magic Palette. Supported File Formats: - VOX (created in apps like VoxEdit or MagicaVoxel) - SCHEM (Minecraft Schematics files created with WorldEdit or MCEdit)
Prepare your files for import: Use the "How to Create a Minimap" guide to find out how to create and prepare your voxel-based maps for Magic Palette. You can create your maps using various voxel editors or even Minecraft if you like.
Ensure your files are saved with the correct extensions: .vox or .schem. If you're working with a different file format, be sure to convert it to one of these before importing into Magic Palette. You can find various converters available online to assist with this.
Download File Formats

VOX File Download a .vox file of your current scene. If you have swapped colors or applied a theme to your map in Magic Palette these changes will also be reflected in the VOX files color palette. The vox file usually is the perfect way to save the progress you made on your scene in Magic Palette.
OBJ File Your map can also be downloaded as OBJ to be used in various 3D software like Blender, Maya, or Unity. The OBJ will be downloaded as a ZIP file containing these 3 files: The OBJ itself, the MTL material, and the texture as PNG.
OBJ export is currently limited to 1x1 LAND size (96 x 96 x 128 BLOCKS). Attempting to download larger maps may cause the app to freeze during the process.

File Name

At the center of the Top Bar, you'll see the seed string of the loaded file displayed. For levels generated by the Land Generator, the file name will include the size of the LAND used (e.g., 2x2) along with the seed number of a generated map.
